Title: Brussel Sprouts
Post by Nigel on Jan 8th, 2009 at 9:20pm
A delicious vegetable that is traditionally hated by all kids and many adults. It is the veg that is hidden under the fat or skin from the meat. BUT some people love them (subject to how they are cooked). It is often used in sketches as a joke (remember the Vicar of Dibley vs David Horton sprout eating competition?).

Personally I love sprouts cooked in a pressure cooker so they are soft, mushy and really sweet.

So, for a bit of post Christmas fun, a poll.  Do you like sprouts and, if so, how cooked?

By the way, few places here seem to sell fresh sprouts.  I was lucky enough to find them in the indoor market in Tortosa and the veg shop opposite (ish) Lidl.  I did hear rumour they were on sale in Suma but there weren't any when I went looking :(
