No I don't think its funny and I am not trying to take the piss.  What I get fed up with is that after every useful posting has been made it is then followed up with a general moan about Catalunya.  Why can you not pass on the helpful stuff without these remarks ?   I enjoy living here and think that it was the best move of my life but I don't finish every posting with how great it is to be here instead of in rip-off Britain.

And if you don't think that it is rip-off Britain then perhaps you are not at pensioner trying to survive on the following compared to what an illegal immigrant receives.

And out of that I would be expected to pay council tax of more than £100 per month compared to £400 for a whole year in Catalonia before I even consider water and gas which are much cheaper.  So I would rather be a pensioner over here living life in the sun than under a permanent grey and wet sky but I don't push it every opportunity which would ultimately get on your wick.
