Does anyone know of a good Italian restaurant in Tortosa, and I don't mean a Pizzeria with delivery scooters!!

I mean a sit down in nice surroundings that serves Pasta dishes

In Amposta, Trattoria Nostra, Av de la Rapita, 40-42. Tel 977 70 09 52. Chef & owner is Italian, very pleasant building & surroundings

Have you eaten there?

Is the food Good, and could you recommend it to a friend?

Hi Stuart: We have eaten at the Italian restaurant just as you come into Tortosa, down one of the side streets to the right just before the Corona hotel. The last time was over 12 months ago, but it was good quality and they did pasta etc. Seem to remember the guy bought out free nibbles and cava whilst we waited for the starters to arrive. Nice little restaurant...dont know the name, but it does have the Pizza sign outside.

Eaten there 3 or 4 times with vegetarian friends who like the Pizzas, pasta dishes varied & good as are Pizzas, 1 enough to share between 2. Share a salad to start. Interesting artwork on walls & their logo is Medusa (a head full of snakes)
