Can anyone advise me please what the current requirement is to maintain a CatSalut card. I have been registered as autonomo for the last few years and paying full social security payments but I have now stopped this. I want to make sure that my cover continues. As I understand it, people use to pay something a month but this was then stopped but I might be wrong. Thanks in advance.

You will need marriage cert empadronement (up to date) NIE Passport etc. and patience.Don't go between 12 and 1 these seem to be the appointment times unless you make an app on line.

Thanks for getting back. I already have a card from my automono days but I was rather wondering how and what you have to pay when you are not self employed.

It should be free, but they ask how much income you have etc. and the answer should be nothing but I'm still waiting for mine.
