A blonde moment?

This is absolutely true!

On Christmas Eve (if you didn't know this is called 'Noche Buena' in Spain) I was in Barcelona standing at the entrance to Santa Maria del Mar, one of the very impressive churches.

Two blonde tourists (English women) came to look as well.
One said to the other:
'Oh look, Midnight Mass is on at 12 o'clock'
'Oh yes' said her friend 'lucky we came to look so we know what time it's on'

I had to walk quickly away before having a good laugh..

Hey Nigel
cut the poor ladies a bit of slack!!!
La Missa de gal (the mass of the cockerel) can be anytime from 9.30pm until midnight.
If you turn up at midnight it is very likely you will miss the service.
In the U.K midnight mass on Christmas eve usually starts at 11.30.
The priest here says mass in two villages so one service is at 10.30 followed by 11.30 in the other
village.
So maybe the blondes were not quite as dumb as some may think.
Happy New year
Wink
