Fusta near Poble Nou This is a popular place with locals, especially estate agents ! serving tipical delta dishes at reasonable prices, no menu del dia about 30euros each. We were there last week.
  Cal Faiges in Poble Nou good tipical food with range of fish & shell fish, very popular on Sundays with local families , must book for weekends rather more expensive. We have'nt been there this year.
  La Barraca near Amposta , Good large portions of tipical delta fare, well cooked, nice grilled artichokes . No menu del dia. Very popular with local business men at lunchtime. Only drawback, the place looks like a bathroom!  Open most weekdays lunch only & Saturday evenings, I can't remember the Sunday opening hours & I think it is closed on Tuesdays. We havent been for awhile . Moderately expensive.
