Gas Bottles Red or Silver?

Hi all,
We are coming over for the whole of September and are looking for advice on gas bottles:

When my father last came back from Spain he brought two silver gas bottles with him. In the area we are, we have only seen the red Repsol bottles. The regulator is interchangeable so we are wondering, if we bring the bottles with us, will we be able to get them exchanged for red ones or get them easily exchanged for full ones?

He assures me that where he stays (valencia), they can be exchanged at petrol stations and other places  but since we have only seen the red ones we are not sure of the situation where we are (Gandesa / mora d'Ebre areas). Can anyone advise?

Many thanks,
John.

HI. Gandesa Garage sell the red bottles but you can exchange your silver bottles with them and there is a gas showroom in Gandesa who sell the silver ones.

Ebrorob - it's butano the same as the red bottles. Supplied by Cepsa - they are a hell of a lot lighter than the red bottles.
John - I would keep hold of the silver ones if you can as they are a lot easier to handle - I managed to swap 2 of my red for silver ones in a garage free of charge - but now anyone else who has tried is charged around 20 euros for the bottle as well as swapping
