I'll never believe another weather forecast. 3 different sites and not one gave this storm or this amount of rain. 1 of the worst days in the past 10 years, no sign of it stopping either.Got a moat around the house and rivers running down the land. Need to go out to get wood in (not me, my poor husband!!) oh and the genny needs filling too.

We use www.eltiempo.es normally spot on. You can put your area in search box, change to English and play with all the options tracking it on the map is handy. Por hora is helpful too, to find out hopefully when its going to stop !!

Seems in the Els Reguers area we had around 110mm of rain between midday & midnight yesterday. Some of the village houses have been flooded & the road between Reguers & Roquettes is impassable this am.I have heard in the Ulldecona area the rainfall for that period may have been more like 190mm!   Electric went out from around 4.00pm Sat afternoon to i believe very early am this morning.

Yes rather a lot of rain, with thunderstorm also.
Power off from around 4ish, yesterday afternoon, until after midnight.
Lots of damage to properties and roads in the area around Jesus.
We actually recorded 138mm. of rain at our property.

Much clenaing up to do today.
They have been working on our road putting rain run-offs down the side but never finished the work, result all the rainwater was directed down our drive and through the house and into the garden with lots of damage.  Children's slide set in concrete washed away and interior fences ripped down.  Bet that there's no chance of getting any compensation from whoever authorised the work !!
Saw Niagara Falls a few years back, nothing compared to yesterday.

I have been camping all week up at my finca, well thank god I'm in a hotel bed tonight.
The road up to Mas de Barberians closed this morning massive mud and rock slide across the main road below the quarry and 2 off the campo tracks wiped out for anything but a brave 4x4.
I had to drive over to Santa Barbera to get in to Tortosa

Our road this morning - just about passable.
According to the news, 1 person drowned - trapped in his car. Over 100 litres per square meter fell in a few hours. There was no forecast of the heavy rain.

The C12 and C42 were both closed.

Rain, what rain!!!!! 2.30pm settled in to watch our recorded casualty on TV. 3.30pm nearly at Tortosa casualty with him indoors, at this time he was down to wellington boots and his underpants trying to dig a hole through next doors finca wall good ole boy in less than an hours digging we had a fast flowing river at the front of the house. short lived pleasure in less than an hour later, sweeping water out of the kitchen door 2 hours of this then a meeting called as water now built up over a metre at the back of the house so had to open the kitchen window and front door. Now had two new water features one externally and one running internally straight through the house as we watched our possessions bobbing up and down merrily. Didn't finish sweeping the water out till 1am this morning, we fell into bed with his usual words of wisdom thank goodness there was no shipping in the area or we could have ended up with a ship sailing through the house his parting shot and his usual little gem, will fix that tomorrow, so now with his Dunkirk spirit my gas water heater does not work, the electric keeps going off, everything a real mess and all he says is hasn't the rain made the garden look good.
Yours waterlogged Bulldogs other half.

Thank goodness we only have to dry some towels. Road from dry! canal to Jesus has been badly damaged, wouldn`t try it in a car. Weather forecast on local tv this morning gave sun for the rest of the week, if you believe it.Good luck to all having to clear up.
