With the expected turn off of our link to the old country I put the following web-site on my computer (whilst back in England recently).

http://www.tvguide.co.uk/?systemid=19&gridspan=09:00

Imagine my surprise when I tried the 'watch'  facility over here WITHOUT hiding my IP location.  It works for me!!!  I can even watch Freeview channels that are not on Freesat such as 'Dave' and, of course, programmes from the long lost Channel 5 stable.

I would be interested if others have success with it.  For the record I'm on a Telefonica land line which tends to give me about 2.5 meg.

I wonder if the fact that I was in UK when I loaded it makes any difference.  (The 'Watch' facility should read 'View")

Great site. A cheap surround sound system from Confort, flock wallpaper and a plastic carton of Kia ora is all you need.

Filmon must have something to do with this because their logo and adverts come up occasionally.

I'm the same as Nen, says it's loading but it does nothing. I'll try it on my laptop the next time I'm in the U.K. I normally use expat shield for BBC iPlayer and ITV catch up, that works fine as long as Adobe Air is monitored.

Have a look at My Expat Network 1.5.1. I think it works with some Androids.  Smiley

I understand that there may be a big switch of some time soon,  was wondering if anyone else is having problems already with bbc and other channels or can I hopefully put it down to the stormy weather?  Sad
